When we found ourselves in Benromach's warehouses, ready to choose the perfect cask, it quickly became clear to us: impossible. There were simply too many excellent candidates. Two casks of Sherry First Fill with those deep, creamy, slightly earthy notes that reminded us of the great Benromachs of yesteryear and two other casks of Bourbon First Fill, full of tropical fruit - mango, papaya, coconut - and a touch of salt and smoke that almost reminds us of the coast had particularly stuck in our minds...and in our hearts!
