For the production of Jefferson's Bourbon, up to four different smooth Kentucky bourbon whiskeys aged from 6 to 10 years are blended in order to obtain the right complexity and the right essential balance
It is aged in lightly charred barrels, which gives it a distinctive flavor profile compared to whiskey aged in barrels with a high level of carbonization. The nose is fresh with spicy notes of oak, vanilla, caramel and hints of smoke. On the palate it is soft with notes of caramel, vanilla, spices with hints of orange peel and honey. The short-lasting finish, with notes of vanilla custard and corn.
Composed of 60% corn, 30% rye and 10% malted barley.
