Southern hemisphere, all upside down, we are in the middle of the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar, in the volcanic Île de la Réunion. The sugar cane that reigns on the island is the R570, and Réunion is a major producer of sugar, through its three large sucreries. The one that supplies Savanna is the Bois Rouge near the distillery for which the raw material of the rum is decided directly together with the sugar factory. The uniqueness of Savanna is that it is the only distillery in the world that produces cane juice and molasses from both raw materials, developing the Grand Arôme style from the latter as well as the normal 'Traditionnel'.
The great quality of the raw material, the attention to the production process and the ancient knowledge of the Savanna brand gives an original product, with a bright amber color and a strong iodized character. The ocean presence blends with hints of macerated fruit in a juicy and sparkling drink that is deeply reminiscent of hot tropical nights.
