Smokey Joe is a Blended Malt made exclusively with whiskey from the Isle of Islay. It is produced by Angus Dundee, former owners of the Tomintoul and Glencadam distilleries. Although Tomintoul produces the “Old Ballantruan” peat, it was decided, as I told you, to use only Islay malts for this blend. From what is stated on the label, it has not undergone cold filtration. A pleasant blended malt.
