Tenuta Hortense
After the sale of the Argentiera estate, the brothers Corrado and Marcello Fratini founded the Hortense estate in 2016, consisting of a total of 1100 hectares, of which 10 are planted with vineyards: the panorama is always that of Bolgheri, one of the new areas, in Italy, more suited to viticulture, where the typical grapes of the Bordeaux area are grown among the rows of cypresses of Tenuta Hortense, which are now absolutely successful in this area (here are born Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Masseto, etc.) ; precisely, the cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and merlot vines.
