The American virgin oak barrel contributes to a robust spiciness, the second passage American oak barrel gives sweetness and softness while the bourbon refill brings with it the sugary notes of American whiskey. The age of aging is not specified but we know it is a scotch, so at least 3 years of aging in Scotland.
