Mastroberardino
The Mastroberardino family has lived the sociocultural context of wine for over two centuries, according to the most reliable historical reconstructions.
The first traces of the presence in Irpinia date back to the Bourbon casket, in the middle of the eighteenth century, when the family elected the village of Atripalda to its headquarters, where the ancient cellars are still located, and from there originated a lineage that indissolubly read its destiny to the cult of wine.
Ten generations, since then, have led family activities, among other events, as always happens in the stories of family businesses of the oldest origin.
The family estates are located in Irpinia, cradle of three DOCG: Greco di Tufo, Fiano di Avellino e Taurasi, distributed in the various areas of the territory with the aim to preserve its identity and ensure the preservation first, continuity and development of autochthonous viticulture.
