Rattray's

The history of the Rattray's brand begins in 1903 thanks to Charles Rattray, a well-known Scottish trader who was passionate about tobacco and also a great fan of smoking. His shop was originally located in Perth Scotland from where he operated his business.

The production of Rattray's smoking pipes began almost simultaneously with the production of tobacco while the pipes were produced using high quality wood coming from the mountains of Scotland.

The brand immediately had great success, standing out for its attention to detail and the high quality of the materials used for production.

Rattray's has changed hands to various families over the years, and in 2018 the brand became the property of the German company Kohlhase & Kopp which maintained production and continued to offer high quality solutions, helping to maintain the Scottish brand as a symbol of excellence for pipe smokers around the world.
