Christian Drouin
It was the 1960s when Christian Drouin senior bought Fiefs Sain Anne, on the hills of Gonneville. The farm is planted with cider apple trees and Christian quickly develops a desire to make Calvados. With the help of Pierre Pivet, a very renowned cru maker in the north of the Pays d'Auge, he spent the first years of activity distilling his cider production. Christian Drouin junior joins his father in 1979 after spending nearly a decade abroad. Christian specializes in the art of aging and, taking advantage of the stock produced by his father, he specializes in the elaboration of the rarest and oldest calvados which he soon distributes in the large hotels and the most elegant restaurants around the world. In January 2004, the third generation joined the company with Guillaume Drouin, an agronomic engineer and oenologist, who will take over the management of the company in 2014. Even today, the blends are made by mutual agreement between Guillaume and his father.
