Porcelain Distillery

Porcelain Distillery was born in Liaoning Province, in northeastern China, thanks to the vision and meticulous work of its creator Hubert Tse, a descendant of a line of spice producers, who decided to showcase China's botanical heritage through an innovative distillate. This spirit is the fruit of painstaking research that required over thirty attempts before reaching perfection. The result is a "Shanghai Dry Gin" that captures the essence of 18 botanicals, 90% of which come from family farms and local markets. The distillation process takes place in a 500-liter copper still, nicknamed Mulan. The main herbs are macerated overnight, while the more delicate ones pass through an infusion chamber, and the aromas are then refined in a six-plate distillation column before final condensation. Key ingredients include Mongolian juniper, goji berries, Sichuan pepper, and various citrus fruits, as well as six other secret ingredients. One variant, Mandarin Gin, also includes mandarin zest. The attention to detail extends to the bottle design, which evokes the famous Chinese porcelain vases. Created by artist Lala Curio and produced in Hong Kong, the elegant packaging pays homage to China's rich cultural heritage.
