Hampden Estate
Hampden Estate is one of Jamaica's oldest distilleries, dating back to 1753. Since 2009 it has been run by the Hussey family. The Estate is known for having the best parcels of land in Jamaica, with one of the highest yields per acre on the island. Until 2018 he had always marketed his distillates by selling them in bulk to the best blenders and rum traders without ever having an official bottling, a very important milestone that was achieved precisely with the release of his first official bottling, which is therefore the first in the history of a among the best distilleries in the world.
