Palenque by Velier

The Palenque project was born from an idea by Luca Gargano, who involved six producers of agave distillates from various villages in the state of Oaxaca and the project coordinator Hector Vazquez.

The Maestros Palenqueros aim to draw a detailed map of the terroir of Oaxaca, the diversity of agave species and the natural conditions that give the latter a rich wealth of information during its long growth process.

These producers operate following an artisanal approach, some introducing modern changes in various phases of production, always paying attention to the quality of the land, the agaves and the production process, based on their personal recipe.
