Waterford

The Waterford distillery project is a completely new path signed by Mark Reynier. The distillery has been in operation for a few years and only released its first bottling in 2020. Many will come out every year, always from different producers and years of barley. Waterford is the name of the town in the south of Ireland where the new whiskey distillery is located. A former Guinness brewery, its large windows overlook the River Suir which crosses the city before flowing into the Celtic Sea in the south of Ireland.Waterford, which launched its first whiskey in 2020, sources its barley from 95 farmers in south east Ireland. Each farmer has his own uniqueness: method of agriculture (conventional, organic and biodynamic), location of his land, different varieties of barley. Waterford supports the agronomic work to have the best possible product, has it collected and stored in warehouses that clearly separate each lot and each producer and from here the trucks loaded with cereals are directed to the distillery.
