The Kamiki distillery is located in the vicinity of Nara, the ancient capital of Japan where you can visit many eighth-century temples that are said to give the city its spiritual power. Kamiki is a Japanese word formed from Kami which means "God" and iki which means "breath", and derives from Ōmiwa, one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan (in Nara), a tutelary temple of Japanese alcohol producers, a perfect name for this whiskey whose strength is balance and harmony.
