The Barisei

Located in the municipality of Erbusco, at the center of the Sebino morainic amphitheater, a basin of glacial origin wedged between the base of Lake Iseo and Mount Orfano, it towers into the hills in the heart of Franciacorta.
At this facility, developed on an area of 2,800 square meters, come the harvests from the estate vineyards, spread over about 40 hectares in the nearby areas of Torbiato, Adro, Monterotondo, Corte Franca, Calino and in the Bettolino locality. All distributed within the basin of glacial derivation, in the most suitable areas of the territory, the plots each have their own characteristics: different altitude, soil composition, exposure.
Known plant by plant, vintage by vintage, personally tended for generations, they have been selected one by one for their specific peculiarities, crucial to the creation of a perfectly balanced, instantly recognizable wine.
Creating a wine with a unique, unrepeatable personality. Full in body and persistence, consistent with the history and tradition of the family, which has been linked to its land for over a hundred years. Characterized by being there, not by evoking something other than itself.

This is what Gian Mario Bariselli had in mind when, taking his cue from the purity and integrity of his land, he began his new project. An unparalleled style, an instantly identifiable stamp: the wines of I Barisèi, with their creaminess, are able to give full satisfaction in the entire tasting journey and involve in a complete, totalizing, entirely satisfying experience. At the base is the conception of a wine that, in the different interpretations, is understood as substance, not as appearance, a faithful synthesis of the best of each vintage.
