San Polo

The first Italian woman to appear on the cover of Wine Spectator and a Cavaliere del Lavoro (Knight of Labor), Marilisa Allegrini is the protagonist of a unique enterprise built on passion and foresight, dedication and respect for the environment. Starting from her family's winery in Valpolicella, Veneto, she arrived in Tuscany in 2001 to pursue an ambitious project of production diversification here, together with her daughters Carlotta and Caterina. San Polo is a proud advocate for this project with its organic vineyards, its certifications, its cutting-edge winery where green architecture reigns supreme, but above all with its constant focus on the future. San Polo represents the harmonious blend of winemaking excellence, sustainability, and innovation. Located in one of Tuscany's most captivating regions, the winery has built an unbreakable bond with its terroir, transforming every single harvest into a reflection of the beauty and complexity of these lands. But its true soul lies in a passionate and highly qualified team, sharing a common vision: preserving the authenticity of the territory and ensuring the highest quality expression of its wines.
