The grapes for this Barolo come exclusively from the best vineyards in the municipalities of Castiglione Falletto, Barolo and Monforte d'Alba. The vines are trained in espalier Guyot on hills with good slopes. The soils are of medium texture with a consistent content of quartz sand which gives richness and intensity of flavor and freshness to the wine.
The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, quickly brought to the cellar for processing. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in thermo-conditioned tanks. After maceration and fermentation The wine is blended and aged for 2 years in traditional large Slavonian oak barrels. The wine completes its refinement in the bottle for a few months before being marketed.
The Barolo Tradizione reaches its maturity four years after the harvest and further matures between four and 20 years.
