Curatolo Arini

After the success achieved as a private winemaker, in 1875 Curatolo Arini decided to transform his business into a winery. In the middle of his own vineyards, in the westernmost part of Sicily, he built what is still today an avant-garde oenological plant, and began to produce fine Marsala, appreciated and marketed all over the world. In 1970 the family decided to add to its production a wide range of still wines, obtained from native Sicilian vines, such as nero d'avola, frappato, inzolia and catarratto; these, which had already conquered the international market in 1975, still magnificently express the unique character of the Sicilian territory. Each new generation has then contributed to writing a new chapter in the company's history, thus carrying on a centuries-old tradition.
