Cirelli
Francesco Cirelli is the creator and executor, together with his wife Michela, of a unique and ambitious agricultural project: 22 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, orchards and vegetable gardens in the Teramo hills under certified organic cultivation. In this evocative terroir, populated by geese that, with their grazing, contribute to the environmental balance, wines of great personality and expressive originality are produced that preserve the ancestral and generous character of the land of Abruzzo.
The little more than 6 hectares planted with vines on the Cirelli estate are arranged on a hillside with excellent exposure and ideal climatic conditions, characterized by temperature ranges, widespread windiness and beneficial influences of sea breezes. The grapes harvested here vinify in the small winery in the traditional way, with winemaking interventions reduced to a minimum and the use of terracotta amphorae.
Cirelli's wines are traditional and gastronomic interpretations of Abruzzo's ancient grape varieties-Montepulciano and Trebbiano. These wines testify to Francesco's passion for his work and his land and his firm intention to maximize the potential of the terroirdelle teramane hills. Stylistic originality, expressive liveliness, good value for money and excellent quality are the cornerstones of this small wine production: an unconventional, captivating and innovative production, which draws its strength from the continuous reference to the most ancient and genuine oenological practices.
