For over a century, Pasticceria Scarpato has embodied the excellence of Veronese confectionery art, creating unique leavened products that celebrate Italian tradition and craftsmanship. Each leavened product is born from a meticulous process that requires at least 72 hours of slow and careful work, ensuring unparalleled softness and development. The secret lies in the sourdough starter, guarded and refreshed three times a day for over 100 years, which gives our leavened products their distinctive aromas and flavors. The use of the highest quality ingredients: pastry butter obtained from the best fresh creams, selected candied Sicilian orange and Diamante citron peels, high-protein flours ideal for long leavening, and 100% Italian sugar from sustainable agriculture, allows us to obtain an already excellent base, on which experience then makes the difference. Each creation is enriched with handmade creams and glazes, the result of the mastery of our pastry chefs (and Scarpato is one of the few who still creates his own creams in-house) who, with passion and dedication, transform every dessert into a unique sensory experience.
