Ardbeg BizarreBQ is a limited edition distilled with the collaboration of Dr. Bill Lumsden and Christian Stevenson (aka DJ BBQ) to produce this barbecue inspired Single Malt. To create the meaty, smoky profile of the barbecue sauce, three types of barrels were used for aging: double-charred oak barrels, Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels, and "barbecue barrels" (heavily charred barrels, custom-made using an old style brazier).
