The Foursquare Plenipotentiary is the latest release by Velier in collaboration with the Barbados distillery of the same name. 

Il Plenipotenziario is a Single Blended Rum composed of a blend of heavy and light rums entirely matured on site for 12 years and then bottled without additives in 6000 specimens.

From the first olfactory impressions, a strong aroma of tropical fruit, mango, unripe banana and cedar is immediately denoted. Rather spicy, with notes of cumin and pumpkin seeds, but also black pepper. Pleasant background wax and licorice.

On the palate it is rich and full of personality, dense and oily, with a large release of wood and spices, specifically black pepper, ginger, nutmeg and a hint of cinnamon. Dark chocolate, figs and a touch of sultanas follow one another, then vanilla and coconut while in the finish there are notes of undergrowth and a slight presence of licorice already recognized on the nose. The aromas are long and persistent. Overall a very high level release.
