Cantine Pellegrino 1880's Terre Siciliane Syrah IGT "Rinazzo" is made from pure syrah grapes grown in the Marsala area.The soil is distinctive, the winery describes it as follows: sandy paleosponge with semi-arid soil resting on a clay substrate. The vines undergo strong temperature excursions, which is why the aromatic component enhances the characteristics of syrah. It is a complex and fine wine of great pleasure and great structure.In the glass it is a beautiful deep red color with garnet reflections. The nose is expressed with floral notes of rose that are immediately succeeded by red fruits and hints of pomegranate. There is no lack of spices, black pepper and green pepper. The palate is soft and enveloping, the tannin is gentle, clove aromas and hints of morello cherry allow the long finish to be remembered.
