In honor of the 9th centenary of the foundation of the monastic order of Chartreux, the Liqueur du 9 Centenaire was produced, manufactured in extremely limited quantities and in numbered bottles. It represents a prestigious and perfectly balanced assembly of refined and characteristic liqueurs and the recipe is still largely secret. Yellow with greenish reflections on the nose it immediately denotes character with pungent minty and resinous tones with references to eucalyptus, star anic, liquorice, black pepper, juniper and lemon. Syrupy and sweet tasting, minty and rich in cocoa, anise and citrus fruits with a persistent and very long-lasting finish in the mouth.
