Springbank 15 year is a single malt of great depth and depth matured exclusively in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, produced without cold filtration or coloring. Medium peat, like all Campbeltown whiskies, it is deeply affected by the influence of the sea and with its salty, savory and iodine notes seems to lead us directly to the Kintyre coast. On the nose it expresses notes of dark chocolate, coffee, almonds, apple pie, caramel and sweet wood; on the palate raisins, bitter chocolate, dehydrated fig, hazelnut and vanilla. The finish is smooth, with notes of sherry, oak and noble leather.
