The delayed growing season and the hot summer until August culminated in the pre-harvest rains which also recorded pronounced temperature variations, excellent for a good ripening of the mountain grapes. If quantitatively the harvest was lower than average, the quality of the mountain Chardonnay nevertheless proved to be very good, in particular for the balance between acidity and aromatic load.
