J. Rose

The history of London Dry Gin "J.Rose" starts from an unusual and counter-current starting point, the idea comes from Dario Roselli, owner of the exclusive Affreschi & Affreschi atelier, a company focused on the production of tailored wallpaper.

His collaboration with talented artists of the caliber of Milo Manara, an iconic character in the comics field, suggested that Dario embark on an adventure, that of the world of gin.

The conditions arise on the occasion of the 2021 Christmas gifts, Roselli sends bottles of spirits to his best customers, decorating them with images of "Venus", the collection that his company will propose at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, designed by Milo Manara.

The success achieved convinces Roselli to immerse himself in this new project, commissioning Liquorificio Italia to create an artisanal Gin, through innovative production methods, affixing 8 different labels from the "Venus" collection.

The 9 botanicals carefully selected by him include juniper, Calabrian bergamot, angelica, cardamom, coriander, Peruvian maca, mandarin, prickly pear flowers and one last remaining secret ingredient.

The London Dry “J.Rosé” is a dry, citrusy and pungent Gin, warm at first taste, then moving towards a silky, harmonious and engaging sip, finishing on a fruity and slightly toasted aftertaste, given by the oak bark .

“J.Rose” Gin is distilled in a 200 liter Mueller still in a single distillation.
