Domaine d'Esperance

In 1990, Jean-Louis and Claire de Montesquiou purchased the Domaine de la Hope, a hill of Armagnac in Gascony. The property, in one of the best years for the production of Armagnac, also produced a wine very appreciated in the area, which had been gradually neglected.

The estate extends over 30 hectares Landes and Gers, Mauvezin d’Armagnac. A quarter of the vineyard is used for the cultivation of the vines Baco 22A and Folle Blanche half for the white wines: Gros Manseng, Colombard, white and gray Sauvignon, Ugni-Blanc , and a quarter for the red and rosé wines: Tannat, Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet-Franc.
