80% Tannat 20% Merlot
The maceration process takes place on the skins followed by low-temperature fermentation. This blend combines the Gascon character of Tannat with the roundness of Merlot. The tannins are however very soft, coming from old vines. A round and easy-drinking wine, it has an intense ruby color. On the nose it gives strong notes of red berries and undergrowth that are reflected on the palate without ever being invasive but rather denoting an excellent balance. A companion red suitable for accompanying white meats or cured meats.
