Chartreuse "Reine des Liqueurs" is a very limited special release.
The blend is made up of an absolutely undeclared mix, kept by the Carthusian monks in the cellars of the Grande Chartreuse charterhouse, located in the pre-Alps of Chartreuse in Voiron, in the department of Isère in southern France. In the 19th century it was present on all the royal tables of Europe.
Particularly appreciated also by the Tsar of Russia Nicholas II, since then it has been considered "The Queen of Liqueurs" Very fresh mint palate based on herbs with anise seeds, gentian and génépi. Moderately sweet.
