Lunelli
Comparing themselves to an "artisan of the time" who with skilful slowness awaits the ripening of the grapes on the vine and the refinement of the wine in the dark of the cellar, the Lunelli Estates choose to depict their new identity by resorting to the symbolism of the lunar phases.
Therefore, time is the lord who governs the territories of the Lunelli estates and their wines. The ancient Greeks used two different words to define the concept of time: Kronos and Kairos. Kronos indicated the passing of time. Kairos, on the other hand, was the propitious, opportune moment. If Kronos tells us "when" we do something, Kairos suggests that "the time has come to do it". After the right amount of time, therefore, the right time had come for this important project which entrusts a unique style to three different cellars: the unmistakable one of the Lunelli family.
As craftsmen of the time, strengthened by the accurate work done in the countryside, the Lunelli Estates (Tenuta Margon in Trentino, Tenuta Podernovo in Tuscany, Tenuta Castelbuono in Umbria) give birth to elegant and long-lived wines, able to overcome the challenge of time.
