Michel Chapoutier
Already at the beginning of the 19th century, in 1808 to be precise, a distant ancestor of the Chapoutier family began to buy the first vineyards in the Rhone Valley, effectively starting the wine business.
Today, after more than two centuries, it is Michel Chapoutier, who has always been passionate about wine and self-taught in the sector, who firmly holds the reins of the family business, applying the rules of biodynamic philosophy, and thus trying to respect his land , nature, the environment and the ecosystem, so as to enhance the intrinsic peculiarities of the grapes and consequently bring them directly into the glass.
His strength of mind and his conviction led Michel to "export" this philosophy to other continents, such as Australia and the United States, where Michel Chapoutier himself, in fact, produces wine, having, among other things, also bought vineyards in Alsace and Portugal.
