Villa della Torre Peaks & Valleys

The Allegrini family's Villa La Torre wine project is based on the enhancement of two territories both connoted by a strong identity and with a great oenological vocation, Valpolicella Classica and Lugana.
The soils of the vineyards cultivated in Valpolicella are formed both by the disintegration of calcareous-dolomitic formations and by basalts and morainic and fluvial deposits of volcanic origin, capable of determining a different water supply to the vines in the various stages of development and growth of the leaf apparatus and during the ripening phase.

The settlement in the Lugana area, on the other hand, is included in the surroundings of the municipality of Desenzano del Garda; nature here represents a wonderful example of the union between the natural environment and that modified by man: the river, moraine lakes, cultivated fields, and woods alternate with the vineyards cultivated with care and love.
The area enjoys a particularly mild microclimate that takes advantage, throughout the winter period, of the slow release of the heat stored by the Garda basin in the summer. Ten hectares of vineyards dedicated exclusively to the production of Lugana are cultivated here.

A young, close-knit agronomic and oenological team, eager to walk the paths of "sustainability" and biodiversity, works and watches over both territories. It is in this way that two labels come to life, Lugana and Valpolicella Classico Superiore, capable of surprising the palate of wine lovers, once again going to highlight the excellent work done by the Allegrini family.
