Miyagikyo is a Japanese single malt that plays everything on softness, creaminess and ex sherry cask sensations. Distilled in Scottish-style copper pot stills, and aged in mixed ex bourbon and sherry barrels, it is produced in the second distillery opened by Masakata Taketsuru in the 1960s. Together with Yoichi he enriches the range of Nikka Whiskey single malt distilleries.
