The name Los Arango is in honor of Doroteo Arango, better known as Pancho Villa, a famous revolutionary leader who became one of the great heroes of Mexico. What makes Los Arango different from all other tequilas is the extreme attention to detail, starting with the hand-picked agave. Another feature that makes Los Arango unique is the distillation that takes place in an old Charentais still. The barrels are then assembled using three different types of wood. The processing is entirely manual and involves the exclusive use of agave with aging in barrels produced with 3 different types of oak.
