A Night on Earth in Jerez is inspired by the New Year celebrated in Jerez de la Frontera, the birthplace of sherry. Here, this festival, rich in meaning and tradition, has another name: Nochevieja (“Old Night”). This limited edition, aged in exceptional old oak barrels, evokes the nostalgic flavors of home... making it the perfect gift for a loved one. Jerez-born artist María Melero created the illustrations for the bottle and case of this edition of A Night on Earth in Jerez. María was inspired by her fondest memories of New Year's Eve celebrations in her hometown. The story begins with a crimson sky above the sherry vineyards, continues in his home represented by the azulejos (traditional Jerez tiles), and ends with golden grapes symbolizing the sherry that will sign The Macallan casks. “Jerez plays a crucial role in the past, present and future of The Macallan.
