Fever-Tree Ginger Beer: An Explosion of Ginger

To achieve the intense, full-bodied flavor of its Ginger Beer, Fever-Tree has selected three types of ginger based on their complementary yet distinctive aromas: a variety from Cochin, India, imparts a rich, earthy, almost chocolatey flavor; from the Ivory Coast comes a fresh, green ginger with an extremely fragrant aroma; and finally, from Nigeria comes a ginger that adds an intense, deep flavor to the blend. In addition to pressing the plant to extract the oils, the roots are macerated to release stronger, more characteristic ginger aromas.
