"Kelbi" is produced by the Pellegrino winery and is a white wine with a strong territorial character, well representing the traditions of the western part of Sicily. The vines are grown on calcareous-sandy soils inland from Mazara del Vallo. After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and the must is fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks. It then matures for 4 months in steel before being bottled. In the glass it is straw yellow in color with slight greenish highlights. The bouquet expresses aromas of orange blossom, white flowers, lime zest, citrus, white-fleshed fruit and fresh almond. On the palate it has a good structure, with harmonious fruity aromas, flowing into a savory finish of vibrant freshness.
