Florentis Tuscan Malt Whisky Super Tuscan Wine Cask is part of the extraordinary series of whiskies that the Chioccioli Altadonna family of Winestillery has begun producing. The process involves a six-day spontaneous fermentation, the use of a “Frilli”-type pot still—a hybrid copper still—and a single batch distillation. The whisky is then aged in Tuscan oak barriques that previously held the highest-quality Tuscan wine. Made with Italian barley, rye, and wheat, and enriched with water from the Fiora Springs, this whiskey is produced in a climate with maximum temperatures of 27°C and minimum temperatures of 14°C, with humidity consistently around 50%.
