Foursquare Rum Distillery Indomitas

Foursquare Indomitas is a Single Blended rum distilled in 2010 in both coffey still and pot still, like all Foursquare from Velier selections.

One part of this rum was aged for 15 years in ex-bourbon barrels, while the other spent 6 years in ex-bourbon barrels and 9 in ex-cognac barrels. After this maturation phase in a tropical climate, the two components were blended and bottled at an alcohol content of 62 percent.

Old gold in color, the nose releases hints of dried fruits and nuts, citrus zest, toasted notes and fine wood, complemented by hints of caramel and ripe yellow fruit. The palate explodes with notes of vanilla and coconut from the ex-Bourbon barrel that intertwine with rounder notes of candied fruit, sweet spiced caramel and fine wood brought by the ex-Cognac barrel.

A limited edition resulting from a collaboration between Richard Seale and Luca Gargano.

It was distilled on October 25, 2017, and bottled on April 29, 2024. Aged for six years in charred virgin oak barrels, which give it its distinctive aromas: pepper, spices, citrus, and a hint of mint. With an alcohol content of 46.0%, this whiskey offers a balanced combination of power and complexity.

What makes this rye whiskey special is its limited production: only 294 bottles were bottled directly from the cask, of which only 170 are available in Europe.

Every glass is an exclusive experience for whiskey lovers seeking something unique.
