Grappa Sarpa Oro di Poli Special Edition is produced in Schiavon, near Bassano del Grappa, the most typical area of the Veneto for the production of grappa. It is obtained from marc (or "sarpe") of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, distilled according to an ancient artisan method, in small batches, with a copper still and discontinuous cycle steam boilers. Subsequently this grappa is kept in small French oak barrels in the underground cellars of the distillery.
