The Nus Malvoisie white wine has the important structure typical of Pinot grigio and stands out for the aromatic finesse given by the mountain environment. It comes from the Nus sub-area and is produced from Pinot grigio grapes, in fact Malvoisie in Val d'Aosta is synonymous with Pinot grigio. The grapes come from vineyards grown between 450 and 680 meters above sea level; the soils are sandy of morainic origin and very sloping; the vineyards are mainly exposed to the south-east and south-west.
The grapes are pressed and the must ferments at a constant controlled temperature of 14°C in steel tanks. The wine matures in steel tanks in contact with the fine lees for 6 months with frequent bâtonnage.
