The distillery is located on a plateau on the island of Guadeloupe which uses cane from the estate and neighboring lands exploited by partner growers for this rum.

Bottled at the end of the barrel, i.e. without adding spring water to reduce the alcohol content, this agricultural rum is aged in old bourbon barrels under the tropical heat of the island of Marie-Galante.
