From Cavaillon comes the Vieux Vaval 10-year-old, produced using Fritz Vaval's Clairin and the Madame Meuze variety of sugarcane, which is deeply rooted in the region's terroir.

This expression, too, has its roots in the early aging experiments that began in 2016, and today serves as a unique testament to Clairin’s evolution over time: Vieux Vaval 10 y.It is the result of a blend of six ex-Caroni barrels, filled ten years ago and selected after a long maturation period characterized by an angel’s share exceeding 58%. It is the oldest Vaval expression ever produced and the only 10-year-old Vaval currently available in Haiti that is bottled at full proof.
