Alan alias Margherita Otto's 2021 Barolo has rich and spicy notes on the nose, hints of cherry in alcohol, anise, dried leaves, violet, mulberry and juniper. On the palate it is fine and elegant; impeccable taste development, with orderly tannins and a rather long finish. A wine for fine palates and that deserves to be stored for a few years to best highlight its extraordinary qualities.
