Romdeluxe's Wild Series number 68 comes from the beautiful Dominican Republic, a cask distilled in 2013 and then aged for 7 years in ex-bourbon barrels.
What is special about this rum is that it was then aged for another 6 years in Denmark in a Sherry PX cask.
This maturation, combined with a relatively high level of esters, resulted in an absolutely fantastic tasting rum.

On olfactory examination, notes of dark berries, dried fruits, vanilla and tobacco come through sharply, while hints of cedar, raisins, red fruits and dark chocolateexplode on the palate.

The rum is bottled at the full strength of 60.6 percent vol, and only 172 of this delicious bottle were bottled in the world!
