From the Palenque Project, this artisanal agave distillate made from Maguey Espadín comes from San Baltazar Guelavila, Tlacolula, Oaxaca, and is produced by Eduardo Martìnez, who took up the baton of his father Gregorio.
Aromatic notes: Sweet vinous notes, anise, fresh wood, with background notes of fresh pepper and sweet and sour fruit, citrus fruits and olives.
Tasting notes: A very intense mezcal, in which hints of fresh and ripe fruit invade the palate, together with savory notes and an astringent sensation. The aftertaste has persistent sweet and smoky tones.
