Amarone Classico DOCG is the fruit of the wisdom of the Allegrini family, it embodies the search for perfection gained through years of experience and tradition, for this reason it has been awarded several times by the Gambero Rosso and Wine Spectator. The grapes that give life to this wine are Corvina, Rondinella and Oseleta. The grapes are left to dry for about 4 months, they are pressed around mid-January and a long fermentation in steel tanks follows. The refinement takes place in barriques for 18 months and in the bottle for a further 14 months.
At the sight it appears intense ruby red. The nose recalls ripe fruit and morello cherry with slightly spicy notes. On the palate it is a wine of great structure, robust with spicy hints due to long aging.
To be served in large glasses at a temperature of 18 ° C, it is advisable to uncork the bottle at least an hour before. Perfect to drink with important dishes based on game, braised and grilled red meats, we recommend pairing with oriental dishes with sweet and sour flavors.
