Upon arrival in the Romdeluxe warehouse this rum is aged and matured in oak barrels, more precisely in a Pajarete sherry cask. This process lasts two years and six months, giving it time to extract the berry notes and character from the wood, resulting in a distinctive and complex flavor profile.
This rum is bottled at an impressive 71.2% ABV, lending formidable character to every drop. If you think the alcohol content is a little high, you can add a little water to soften the effect and bring out the more delicate flavors.
