Chartreuse "Reine des Liqueurs" is a very limited special version.
The blend is made up of an absolutely undeclared mixture, kept by the Carthusian monks in the cellars of the Grande Chartreuse charterhouse, located in the Chartreuse pre-Alps in Voiron, in the Isère department in southern France.
In the 19th century it was present on all the royal tables of Europe. Particularly appreciated also by the Tsar of Russia Nicholas II, since then it has been considered "The Queen of Liqueurs"
Very fresh minty herbal palate with aniseed, gentian and génépi. Moderately sweet.
